Ryan Gosling Calls 'Blue Valentine' A 'Cautionary Tale' For Couples

'People can see the film and can see themselves in it or say, 'How do we keep that from happening?' ' he tells MTV News.
By Kara Warner, with reporting by: Josh Horowitz

We already know Ryan Gosling thinks his latest film, "Blue Valentine," is a "nice companion piece" to his 2004 romantic drama "The Notebook." And this is despite "Valentine" having much darker, more sexually charged elements and some MPAA ratings drama.

But we wanted to know, given the film's edgier theme, is it detrimental or beneficial for a couple to see together?

"I think it's the best thing for a couple to see, honestly. I'm not just trying to sell the movie," Gosling insisted when MTV News caught up with him. "Well, I am trying to hawk the movie," he laughed, adding that he thinks it's good for couples to see and experience together, since it might prompt discussion or bring to light existing problems in a relationship that the couple could be trying to ignore.

"If there is a problem in their relationship, they're not able to look at it, and they're caught in their own experience of it, there's no dialogue about any of the bigger issues," Gosling explained. "I think ['Blue Valentine' is] a cautionary tale about what can happen to love if you ignore it and you take it for granted."

He went on to say that, because the film highlights the "nitty-gritty" of what it takes to sustain a romantic relationship, it will get couples talking.

"I think that people can see the film and can see themselves in it or say, 'How do we keep that from happening?' "

Check out everything we've got on "Blue Valentine."

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover

Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.
By Gil Kaufman

Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off Led Zeppelin's 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again."

That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on "American Idol" rock night Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004.

The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album Led Zeppelin II. Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon.

For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997.

Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction.

Kanye West's Unfinished 'Monster' Video Leaks Online

Gory video features Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and images of decapitated women and zombies feasting on flesh.
By Gil Kaufman

The lyrics to Kanye West's all-star track "Monster" are full of dark images of bloodsuckers, dead hands, the devil, sarcophagi, ghouls, goblins, murder, fangs and Chucky from "Child's Play."

And though he's not often one to take such a literal path in the imagery that accompanies his songs, a leaked version of the unfinished video for West's "Monster" lives up to the gruesome, blood-drenched lyrical barbs served up in the song by Yeezy, Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj. The fuller version is in keeping with the gory glimpses seen in late November when a preview leaked online.

At press time, West had not commented on the leak, but online hip-hop communities were abuzz about the transgressive nature of the images in the five-minute clip. It opens with the disturbing sight of several woman in lingerie and high heels hanging from nooses around Ross as he sits on a throne and smokes a cigar, then switches to a scene of West being groped by the hands of unseen women reaching through a metal gate.

As he raps about "the best living or dead, hands down, huh?" West pops up shirtless on a bed with electric-blue sheets next to two hollow-eyed women in lingerie. They appear to be dead as he positions their limp arms around each other. What follows are scenes in which a woman in a designer dress drags a lifeless man's body across the floor and then draws blood as she steps on his chest with her spiked heels.

The clip, which borrows heavily from monster and horror movie tropes seen in such films as "Saw," "Night of the Living Dead" and "American Psycho," depicts Kanye in a mansion trying to hold back a horde of zombie attackers, dead women splayed out on dinner tables, a zombie couple feasting on a bloody corpse, glowing-eyed ghoulies crawling down halls, Jay-Z rapping in a crisp suit in front of a dead naked woman draped face-down on a leather couch, and West standing in cowboy gear while holding a woman's severed head.

Amidst all these graphic images of decapitated and dismembered female forms comes a scene in which Nicki, wearing black leather bondage gear and wielding a leather riding crop, engages in a psychological showdown with herself. She's seen riding herd over a hooded figure in a white wedding dress strapped to an executioner's chair, wielding a long, sharp sword. Once the hood is removed, it's clear that Minaj is confronting her pink-wigged Barbie alter ego as the two sides of her personality engage in a death match that swings from a lap dance to seeming threats of murder.

The flesh feast ends with glimpses of a female werewolf in black teddy and rocking bushy grey muttonchops dancing in front of a fire, West cuddling in bed with his deceased female companions and pale hands reaching out from behind a door.

No release date has been announced for the official version of the "Monster" video.

'Black Swan' Star Natalie Portman 'Indescribably Happy' About Engagement

By Kara Warner

It seems as though Natalie Portman has had a most festive holiday season, both on professional and personal levels. Not only is her film "Black Swan" garnering rave reviews and award nominations galore ("Swan" received four Golden Globe nominations, among others), but the petite actress recently became engaged to boyfriend Benjamin Millepied, with whom she is expecting her first child.

"I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience," Portman gushed in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.

Portman and Millepied met during production of "Black Swan," for which Millepied was the choreographer and played the role of Portman's dancing partner. The two have remained quiet about their relationship, but reportedly started dating in early 2010. Millepied told Details magazine he was "blown away" by her acting abilities and that she was "amazing to watch," but didn't go into any details about their relationship. "It's ... everybody's asking us," he said. "We just want to keep things to ourselves."

The 29-year-old's baby is due sometime in 2011. In addition to her inevitable awards season appearances, Portman has several movies coming out in the new year, including "No Strings Attached" with Ashton Kutcher, "Your Highness" opposite Zooey Deschanel and James Franco, and summer blockbuster "Thor."

Portman's happy news comes at the same time as other romantic celebrity announcements including Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz's stepping out publicly as a couple and the engagements of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian and Ginnifer Goodwin and Joey Kern.

Ke$ha's Cannibal: A Cheat Sheet

Singer has already scored a hit with new single 'We R Who We R.'
By Gil Kaufman

Ke$ha
Photo: Jon Kopaloff/ Getty Images

It's been a pretty phenomenal year for Ke$ha. The brash, glitter-loving club kid burst onto the scene in January with her debut album, Animal, hot on the heels of the smash debut single "Tik Tok."

In short order, she ended the chart run of Susan Boyle when Animal debuted at #1, made her first trip to the Grammy Awards, teamed up with pals 3OH!3 for another hit video with "Blah Blah Blah," dropped in on "American Idol" and hit the road with Rihanna. And that's just the first three months of the year!

But after scoring another hit with "Your Love Is My Drug" and flipping the bird to haters over their critiques of her wobbly debut on "Saturday Night Live," Ke$ha unleashed another single, "Take It Off."

For a minute, there was talk of a follow-up album that might have a country twang, not out of the question considering that she's a Nashville native and her mom penned songs for Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. But as she said at the time, "I'm also really digging being called, like, half-jokingly, a white-girl rapper. I think it's really funny, and I'm going to ride that train for a little bit."

By August, she was already plotting her next move, telling MTV News, "I'm always writing and kind of thinking of the next step. I'm still executing this record properly onstage, but the next record is definitely on my mind, and potentially in the works soon." She described waking up in Tokyo at 4 in the morning with a brainstorm for a new song and then spending seven hours making a "horrible" beat on "Garage Band" and singing and rapping into her computer.

A short time later, it was announced that her nine-song follow-up, Cannibal, would hit stores November 22 as a "companion" album to a reissue of Animal. The disc was reported to contain eight new songs produced by heavy-hitters like Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Bangladesh and to be preceded by "We R Who We R."

"This year has been carnivorous and life-changing. I have my rowdy, gorgeous fans to thank for taking me on the ride of a lifetime," Ke$ha said in a statement. "My only goal with this record is to keep them dancing. The songs on Cannibal were made to inspire people to ignore any hate or judgment and be themselves unapologetically. It's the perfect companion to Animal and I hope you guys like it. And if you don't like it — bite me."

Though a rumored hookup with Drake was false, a confirmed track list proved to have plenty of profane and silly titles, including (ahem) "C U Next Tuesday," "Sleazy," "Blow," "The Harold Song," "Cannibal," "We R," "Crazy Beautiful Life" and "Grow a Pear," plus a remix of "Animal." After winning an MTV EMA for Best New Act, the singer also locked in her first headlining affair, the Get $leazy Tour, which is slated to kick off February 15 in Portland, Oregon.

Like most major new albums, Cannibal leaked online a week before it hit shelves, perhaps the finest proof yet that Ke$ha has truly hit the big time. Only this time, after most of the songs had hit the Web, Ke$ha just posted the damn thing herself on her website and told her fans to enjoy.

"This is my album premiere, and it's top secret, and it's really fun and it's wild," Ke$ha said in a message posted on her site. "Things are going to get crazy and a little awkward, it'll be okay. Listen to it."

She's going to have plenty of major competition on the charts this week with new releases from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and My Chemical Romance, but something tells us Ke$ha isn't that worried.

Open the floodgates! It's Mega-Release Week, with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, Ke$ha, My Chemical Romance and Lloyd Banks all dropping new albums. Stick with MTV News for everything you need to know about the brand-new music.

Natalie Portman Is Engaged and Pregnant

Natalie Portman Is Engaged and Pregnant

Natalie Portman blindsided the entertainment world on Monday when she announced that she was both engaged and pregnant. The lucky man is choreographer Benjamin Millepied, the accomplished French dancer who trained Portman for her role as a ballerina in Black Swan. (Also, he dances with her in the film. And also, he's gorgeous.) We're very happy for the couple, but we're still shocked by the announcement. How in the world did they manage to hide their relationship and the baby news from the gossip-hungry public?

First of all, Portman had to contend with the tabloids, which make a point to scrutinize every female celebrity's stomach and weight at all times. And as if that weren't enough, she and her fiance have both been promoting Black Swan for months now, including tons of red-carpet appearances and high-profile interviews. Granted, their relationship wasn't a total secret: since they met in 2009 (and Millepied abruptly broke up with his longtime girlfriend), they have been photographed on dates and spoken a little too sweetly about their working relationship. But when Black Swan promotion kicked into high gear, the pair seemed to go their separate ways, avoiding each other at events and after-parties. Most of us assumed that the relationship had fizzled. Little did we know that Natalie Portman had left her engagement ring at home!

As for the baby bump, it appears that she concealed it with a wardrobe of drapey, high-waisted evening gowns. But we suspect that nature is on her side, too; if the small-framed actress had significant bulge to conceal, the dresses wouldn't have worked. It's possible that she's very early in her pregnancy and just wanted to curb the media speculation outright.

In her one brief statement to the press, the actress said, “I have always kept my private life private but I will say that I am indescribably happy and feel very grateful to have this experience." Which is much more polite than what she could have said: "Nyah nyah nyah, I sure outsmarted you!" But now that the secret's out, we can all go on to speculate on more important things -- like, what will she wear to the Oscars?

Are you surprised that Natalie Portman was able to hide her pregnancy? Chime in below!

Is There a Lindsay Lohan Movie in the Works?

Is There a Lindsay Lohan Movie in the Works?

Lindsay Lohan: The Movie may just be headed to a theater near you. According to the New York Post, 26-year-old Lydia Hearst Shaw is set to play a character in the new film Dogs in Pocketbooks, which is said to be based on the troubled life of Lindsay Lohan.

"Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media -- a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan," filmmaker Charles Casillo told the New York Post.

And, of course, he insists that the new flick is not meant to make fun of the troubled starlet. "[The movie] is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay. It's the kind of thing she has spoofed about herself in the past. It's more of a satire about the crazy people around her and the situations they generate. It satirizes the obsession with modern celebrity."

Meanwhile, Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan, is not too happy about the news of a flick based on his daughter's life, and is threatening a lawsuit.

"I smell more attorney fees brewing," Michael Lohan tells E! News. "To date, I don't know that Lindsay's rep or [her mom] Dina and I have been contacted about this 'venture.' "

Taking a dig at Lydia Hearst, who is heir to the Hearst publishing fortune and daughter of once-kidnapped Patricia Campbell Hearst and Bernard Shaw, Michael said, "Personally, I don't understand why Mr. Casillo and Lydia Hearst find it so fascinating they would want to make a movie about Lindsay and our family. Especially when the Hearst's family is more interesting and probably has more drama than ours."

He even (sarcastically, of course) made his own suggestions for the casting of other roles in the film. "If this is a satire, I bet they get Courtney Love to play Dina [Lohan], Mel Gibson to play me, and Lydia should realy foot the bill on Lindsay," he says.

Would you see a movie based on Lindsay Lohan's life? Chime in below!

Jason Segel Is Single and Says He Wants "Someone Who's Nice"

Jason Segel Is Single and Says He Wants "Someone Who's Nice"

Funnyman Jason Segel works eight-day weeks (yes, eight!), so he barely has time to sleep, let alone have a girlfriend. Since he's single, he tells iVillage exclusively that he wants "someone who's nice. Funny helps, but nice comes first." Maybe that's because Segel's sense of humor -- which he says helps him with the ladies -- is enough for two people!

The solo actor, 30, has a lot on his plate right now. He's promoting Gulliver's Travels (costarring Jack Black and Emily Blunt), is on CBS' How I Met Your Mother and is starring in 2011's Muppets movie, which he also wrote. The actor took some time out of his busy schedule to chat with iVillage about whether he'll do full-frontal again like in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, why he thinks his fame could "end tomorrow" and which Muppet is his favorite (hint: It's not Kermit!).

Are you single?

I am. Absolutely. Still single.

Do you always sing Prince lyrics (like your character Horatio did in Gulliver's Travels) to get women?

(Laughs) No, I don't. I usually try to write an original song.

Does your sense of humor help with the ladies?

Yeah, it's all I got really. Sense of humor and the cash!

In a recent interview, you said the toughest part of Gulliver's Travels was playing someone who Emily Blunt would be attracted to. Do you really believe that?

I don't know if it's the toughest part, but it really helped with the role because I had to feel like she was above my station in life, you know? So I think that actually really helped that I'm intimidated by Emily.

Some of us at iVillage are thinking of starting a "Make Jason Segel the Sexiest Man Alive" campaign.

I would highly encourage it. And, good luck! (Laughs) That would be very impressive!

Thank you for not leaving How I Met Your Mother even though you have a big movie career now.

Well, of course. It's sort of my family, you know. We've been together six years now. It's the longest I've known a group of people besides my family, if that makes any sense. I've watched them have babies -- well, not literally (laughs) -- and we've just really grown up together. It's a really special thing in my life.

You signed a contract for eight seasons of How I Met Your Mother. Will you be done after that?

I would have to see how I felt at eight seasons. I think once you've done your contract, you've done everything that you said that you would do. So I wouldn't feel like it was abandoning ship or anything like that. Eight years is a good long time. But you know I love working on the show and I love my cast and crew so I think I'll play it by ear when I get there.

Your schedule must be crazy right now.

Yeah right now it's seven day weeks because I'm shooting Muppets at the same time, but again, How I Met Your Mother bends over backwards to make the schedule work so that I can do both. So I shoot the TV show Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and I shoot the movie Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. In a weird sort of way it's eight-day weeks because Tuesdays I double dip.

Do you sleep?

In all honesty, on those nights I sleep in my dressing room.

That's impressive.

It's just raw desperation.

Why? You're doing so well.

I had a moment when I was about 19 when I felt like I was about to be set, right after Freaks and Geeks. And it didn't pan out. Everything went away. So in the back of my mind is still the notion that it can all end tomorrow. So while I have the chance, I'm going to try to accomplish my dreams.

You wrote Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but Muppets took you three years to write. Does it hold a special place in your heart?

It does. The Muppets are actually something that was really important in my life and I've been such a tremendous fan. And when all of a sudden I realized that I had an opportunity to not only just work with The Muppets but help bring The Muppets to a generation of kids so they can experience what I got to experience, I was just over the moon. And it's certainly a lot of pressure and it's scary at times, but I feel awfully proud.

So you are feeling pressure?

I don't feel any pressure in terms of success or box office gross or anything like that. I feel pressure to do justice to the essence of what The Muppets is to me. That's all that I care about. If this makes any sense, I want the puppeteers to be happy. The guys who worked on the original Muppets movies and who remember that period in time. I want those guys to be proud, you know?

You got emotional when you first met Kermit. Was he always your favorite?

I loved Kermit, and he's also the icon, but I have a real soft spot for Fozzie Bear. He's great. He's never said a bad thing about anyone. He's so sweet and he wants Kermit to be happy. His jokes are terrible but he keeps on telling them. He still calls Kermit sir after 30 years.

What are you doing when you're done with The Muppets?

I start filming another movie that I wrote with my writing partner Nick Stoller that he will direct and Judd (Apatow) will produce. It's called Five-Year Engagement. Stephen Dorff Says Jack Nicholson Will Love 'Somewhere'

'I think he'll identify with it so much,' Dorff suggests about his friend and one-time co-star's opinion of the acclaimed new film.

Ever since they shared screen time in the 1997 heist flick "Blood and Wine," actors Stephen Dorff and Jack Nicholson have remained close friends. Their relationship may not necessarily be "bromance" territory, but it's close enough that Dorff has shared his career ups and downs with the Oscar winner, and asked for his advice over the years. When MTV News caught up with Dorff recently to talk about his critically acclaimed new film "Somewhere" — a role that he called the most challenging of his career — he said he thinks the flick is one Nicholson will really enjoy.

"I think he's going to really love this movie because to me it's a film that isn't made anymore today," Dorff explained. "It's such a character piece and I think he'll identify with it so much.

Dorff revealed that he already got a big thumbs-up from Nicholson after "Somewhere" took home the top prize at Italy's Venice Film Festival in September.

"After we won Venice I remember telling him how excited I was," he recalled. "And he's like, 'Way to go, Dorff!' "

We then brought up the fact that Nicholson has taken several actors under his wing over the years — pointing out to Dorff that the Hollywood legend had taken an interest in "Mad Men" actress January Jones when she was first starting out.

"Well, he takes an interest in a lot of women, let's be honest," Dorff responded with a chuckle. "He definitely took me under his wing. I think it's rare for Jack to take a young guy under his wing — he's not hanging out with too many guys.

"He did do that with Sean Penn and he's definitely given me great advice over the years," Dorff added. "I always feel like I have him as a friend and he'll show up if he can. And he's always been my favorite actor, so for me, he's a friend, and it's nice to get a little star struck still. It keeps me remembering who I am and where I am, and Jack's still somebody that makes me a little nervous."

If Dorff has his way, he and his buddy Jack will take their friendship to the big screen via a comedy the younger actor is hoping to make with Adam Sandler's production company.

"It's a very funny comedy idea for me and him set in the South of France," Dorff told the UK's Independent newspaper last month. "We're not in script form yet but I wrote the treatment and they've already bought it so as soon as I get a break from working, I'll turn that into a script and I'll go and tell Jack. ... And I'll get Sony to give him his $15 million and then we'll go and make the movie — because he likes money."

Check out everything we've got on "Somewhere."

Beyonce's Mom Says Daughter's Style Has Always Been 'Edgy'

'It's just a result of her constantly evolving,' Tina Knowles says of the fashion in Beyonce's "I Am ... World Tour" DVD concert special.

Beyoncé has never been shy about hitting the stage in stunning costumes. Her appearance has always been a mixture of showgirl sparkle and pop star razzle-dazzle. And her style is on full display in her new DVD concert special, "I Am ... World Tour."

Her mom and stylist, Tina Knowles, said that while the looks may seem a bit edgier than what fans have seen from the singer in the past, she thinks that her superstar daughter has always been ahead of the style curve.

"Well, the wonderful Thierry Mugler designed the costumes, and I actually worked on some of the dancers and the band, and it was just amazing to work with him because he is so creative," Knowles told MTV News at a New York screening of the special. "So it's just a result of her constantly evolving, but she's been edgy. It's funny for people to say she went more edgy, but she's been wearing body suits and that type of thing."

And while Knowles may act as her daughter's stylist and costume designer, she says that Bey's style decisions are all her own. "Well, we discussed her working with Thierry Mugler, and I'm the biggest fan. And so she had seen some of the fashions and she loved it," she said. "So we always discuss things, but it's her decision, it's her career."

Beyoncé, who also directed the concert special , said it gave her a better understanding of the filmmaking process. "It was hard work," she said. "I learned so much. I have a new respect for directors and I think I would like to do more of it. ... Well, I've done some co-directing for music videos [but] this was definitely a big step for me, and I'm so thrilled."

Cher Recalls VMA Meeting With Justin Bieber

'I felt like I should cover up before I take a picture with this baby,' pop legend says of meeting Bieber while wearing racy '80s outfit.

Cher turned heads at the VMAs back in September when she proudly showed up in the same barely there outfit she wore for her 1989 "If I Could Turn Back Time" video. However, the 64-year-old pop icon admits that she began feeling a bit inappropriately dressed when she was introduced to Justin Bieber that evening.

"I thought, 'I'll do myself in a decade', and that [body stocking] was the closest thing I had. And then someone said, 'Will you take a picture with Justin Bieber,' and I said, 'Sure', not knowing who he was," she recently recalled to British talk-show host Graham Norton. "And then this child, who came up to here [my chest], and I felt like I should cover up before I take a picture with this baby."

Of course, Bieber wasn't the only up-and-coming star Cher had the pleasure of meeting that night. She also had the honor of holding Lady Gaga's meat purse when the latter singer took the stage to accept a Moonman in the now-infamous meat dress.

"Well, I wear that every night in Las Vegas, so I just whipped it out," Cher said recently to MTV News of her scanty VMA getup. "I didn't have time to think of, like, getting a costume. So I had it and thought it would just be fun to just take off on myself, not knowing I was going to be handling the meat purse.

"But, you know, there's those moments you just remember [forever]," she added. " 'Here, Cher, will you hold my meat purse?' "

Paris Hilton Ex Doug Reinhardt Denies Sex Tape

Rep tells TMZ rumored tape 'doesn't exist and never existed.'
By James Dinh

With 2010 wrapping up, it appears Paris Hilton will end the year with just a little bit of controversy. Despite swirling online rumors that the socialite and her ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt filmed a sex tape, a rep for the former "Hills" star insisted it's just not true.

Speaking with TMZ, Reinhardt's rep Amanda Ruisi said, "Doug says a sex tape with Paris and him doesn't exist and never existed."

Reinhardt and Hilton began dating in early 2009 and had even contemplated marriage during their six-month relationship. In an interview with People magazine, the blonde bombshell appeared happy with her then-boyfriend.

"He makes me feel like I've never felt before," she told the mag. "Everything he does is romantic. He's amazing, and we're really happy. He's beautiful, he's smart, he's well-educated, and he treats me like a princess. We're just very much alike."

In June of '09, the couple called it quits. And while the duo reunited for multiple reconciliations, they eventually ended things for good. Rumors later surfaced that Hilton believed the "Hills" star was using her for her celebrity status.

The alleged sex tape isn't the only ordeal the 29-year-old heiress has faced in the past year. In July, Hilton was detained in South Africa during the World Cup on suspicion of marijuana possession. Just a month later, the reality-TV starlet was arrested in Las Vegas on charges of cocaine possession.

Hilton, who is celebrating the holidays with family in Hawaii, has yet to speak publicly about the rumored sex tape.

Britney Spears' Producer Opens Up About Her New Album

'She is actually damn professional,' Shellback says in radio interview.

Britney Spears fans are gearing up for the release of the singer's new music in 2011. With the album due out in March, and a single expected to drop before then, details are slowly emerging about the music and what it was like to work with Spears on the follow-up to 2008's Circus.

"Right now we are preparing for Britney's upcoming album, which will be released in March. Some other things too, but the main focus is the album," Swedish producer Shellback said in a recent radio interview. "It works in many different ways [when you work with Britney]. You can make something absolutely new, or take a beat that's three years old and come up with a good sound."

Shellback, who worked with Pink on "Raise Your Glass," collaborated with Dr. Luke and Max Martin on music for Spears. The producers are donating a guitar they used on the album to charity.

"[Britney]'s actually damn professional. You read a lot on the Internet that Britney is not singing and mimes, but she is actually damn professional," Shellback said. "She's done it since she was 16. And just rhythmic way, she is f---ing awesome! And you do not have to go through and talk about the rhythms and stuff that you sometimes have to do. She's very easy in the studio."

Spears has shared her excitement about the new album with fans via her Twitter page. "I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March," she wrote. "I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!"
