Lindsay Lohan may not be spending any more time behind bars, after all. A new report from RadarOnline.com, says that the troubled starlet, who was recently sentenced to four months in jail for a probation violation, is expected to get off scot-free after she pleads no contest to a theft charge this week.
Sources say that Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley, met with the new prosecutor on the case Monday, and the two came to an agreement that LiLo wouldn't serve any jail time. It is being said that Judge Stephanie Sautner told the lawyers she would sentence the actress, 24, to another year's probation instead.
"Lindsay knows she dodged a major bullet," an insider said. "She doesn't like the fact she'll be on probation for another year, but it beats being in state prison."
Lohan is already clocking in 380 hours at a shelter for homeless women. She was sentenced to community service after violating probation connected to her second DUI conviction in 2007. But, instead of the 120 days behind bars Lohan was looking at for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace, Judge Sautner reportedly told attorneys that she'll allow Lohan to serve that time at home with an ankle bracelet.
This is an extremely lucky break for Lindsay, who can now continue trying to revive her film career.
