The holidays have arrived, and it's time for eating, relaxing and sharing family traditions. And if you're part of the Gyllenhaal family, that means apologizing to your guests when your dad completely freaks them out!
"We have a family tradition of stabbing the turkey before we eat it," Jake Gyllenhaal tells iVillage exclusively. "(My dad) always takes the knife and stabs it and makes a screaming noise...It's really weird and embarrassing when people who haven't been to our Thanksgiving dinner see that."
For Burlesque actress Julianne Hough, the holidays are less about relaxing and more about slaving away in the kitchen. "Last year I made the entire Thanksgiving dinner and it was really good," she explains. "So now I'm totally screwed from here on out because I have to cook every year!"
